Jennifer Koga has been named Sacramento State's Female Student-Athlete of the Year…Koga was named the Big Sky Conference Player of the Year for the third consecutive season…also named first team all-Big Sky for the third straight year…one of the most accomplished athletes in Big Sky and Sacramento State history, she has earned league player of the year honors each of her first three seasons at Sacramento State…averaged a team-best 73.26 strokes per round, fourth best in school history…became just the second golfer in program history to win two events in the same season (Coeur d'Alene Collegiate; Cowgirl Classic)…also had top-10 finishes at the Big Sky Championship and two other events…shot 67 in the first round of the Cowgirl Classic for her season best…also had two rounds of 68 and a 69…lowest 54-hole total was 72-68-68-209 at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate, tied for fourth in school history.

Sydnie Bain (Rowing) - A first team all-American Athletic Conference selection, and chosen as the team's Most Outstanding Rower…competed with the varsity eight in every spring race for the second consecutive season…has never missed a spring race during her career…stroked the varsity eight to a 6+ second victory over Kansas State at the Hornet Invite…sat at stroke with the Hornets' top boat the first three races of the season, before moving to the six seat for the final six races…won a bronze medal at the WIRA Championship.
Marissa Bertuccio (Softball) - A third team all-West Region selection, unanimous Big Sky Conference Pitcher of the Year, and unanimous first team all-league choice…became just the third Hornet to receive Big Sky Pitcher of the Year accolades multiple times (also won in 2022)…finished with 14 wins, a 1.84 ERA, 29 appearances, 22 starts, 14 complete games, four shutouts and two saves…in 148.2 innings, she had 112 strikeouts and just 19 walks…that 5.9-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio ranked 18th in the nation…went 6-2 in conference play with a 0.92 ERA.
Kahlaijah Dean (Basketball) - Named the Big Sky Conference MVP and Big Sky Newcomer of the Year after helping lead the Hornets to a school-record 25 wins, the program's first-ever Big Sky regular season and tournament titles, and the first trip to the NCAA Tournament…also a unanimous first team all-Big Sky selection…named the Big Sky Tournament MVP, and was a five-time Big Sky Player of the Week selection… started all 33 games, ranking second on the school's single-season list with 685 points while averaging 20.8 ppg.
Aubrey Goodwill (Soccer) - Named the Big Sky Conference Defensive MVP…a unanimous first team all-Big Sky selection…became the fifth Hornet to ever win Big Sky Defensive MVP honors, while earning her second-straight first team selection…finished the season leading the team with four goals, three assists, and 11 points total, putting nine of her 14 shots on frame in addition to her exploits on the defensive half…one of five Hornets to start all 18 matches, she led all field players with 1,583 minutes played… finished among the Big Sky's top 10 players in goals, assists, and points.
Amber Koeth (Gymnastics) - Qualified for the NCAA Regional as a beam specialist where she tied the school record for highest score (9.975)…named the MPSF Specialist of the Year, earned first team all-MPSF honors on beam, and second team on bars and floor…earned three MPSF Specialist of the Week awards…won 10 event titles with two on bars, three on beam and five on floor…her NQS of 9.885 on beam tied the school single-season record…career average of 9.717 on beam places her second all-time at Sacramento State.
