Gymnastics' Peyton Gillen has been named the Sacramento State Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year…the award is given to the Hornet student-athlete that has the highest overall grade point average among females who are a senior athletically…a four-year member of the gymnastics team, Gillen graduated last month with a psychology degree and a 3.992 grade point average…multiple time academic all-MPSF selection…a second team all-MPSF beam selection this past season…appeared on beam in 10 meets where she averaged 9.703, the second highest mark on the team.
