Softball's
Lafulafu Malepeai has been named Sacramento State's Female Student-Athlete of the Year…named Big Sky Conference Player of the Year, third team all-West Region, and unanimous first team all-Big Sky…selected to play this summer for the American Samoa National Team…became just the third player in program history to be named Big Sky Player of the Year…started all 53 games…hit .401 (65-for-162) with 16 home runs, 51 RBIs, a .772 slugging percentage, 35 walks and a .510 on-base percentage…had a 15-game hitting streak…team-leading 21 multiple-hit games, and 12 multiple-RBI games…16 home runs were just two shy of the program single-season record.

Kaylee Godwin (Rowing) - A first team all-WCC selection for the second straight season…named the Hornets' most outstanding rower…also named WCC preseason all-conference…sat in the stroke seat in the varsity eight (Hornets' top boat) in all 12 spring races…has competed with the team's top boat in every race since stepping on campus - 33 straight races…helped the Hornet V8 to three WCC Crew of the Week honors…invited to compete for the World University Championship (WUC) Team this summer.
Tova Hatton (Golf) - Named first team all-Big Sky Conference…led the Hornets with a scoring average of 73.30 which ranks ninth in school single-season history…finished the year with 11 rounds of par or better…won the Juli Inkster Invitational after shooting 68-72-72-213 to finish at 3-under par…had two other top 10 finishes (tied for fifth at the Dick McGuire Invitational and tied for eighth at the Causeway Invitational)…shot under par in three tournaments and even in another.
Kara Houghton (Gymnastics) - The MPSF Specialist of the Year…earned first team all-MPSF honors on bars and was second team on floor…averaged 9.777 on bars which is the eighth highest in school history…posted seven scores of 9.8 or better on bars and had an NQS of 9.825…led the team with an average of 9.783 on floor and an NQS of 9.855 which ranks eighth in program history…had 10 scores of 9.8 or better on floor…was in the lineup on bars, beam and floor in all 12 events…won the individual floor title in four meets.
Victoria Marthaler (Volleyball) - An honorable mention All-American - only the third Hornet to receive All-America honors during the program's Div. I era…named Big Sky Conference MVP…became just the second Hornet in the last 10 years to be named all-region…also named first team all-Big Sky…named Big Sky all-tournament…a six-rotation outside hitter, she easily led the Big Sky and ranked sixth in the nation with 4.89 kills per set…ranked seventh in the country with 5.38 points per set…posted double-figure kills in 27 matches.
Lou Baudouin (Tennis) - Unanimous first-team all-Big Sky Conference selection in singles and an honorable mention choice in doubles…ranked No. 20 in the ITA Northwest Region in singles, and was No. 10 in doubles alongside teammate Emilija Pranyte…finished the year with a 17-3 overall record, which stood tied for first on the team in wins, and was 7-1 in Big Sky play…11 of those 17 wins came at the No. 2 spot in the lineup…was a combined 15-8 in doubles and 6-1 in Big Sky play.
