Madison Evers-Lyles is recipient of Sacramento State's Female Individual Performance of the Year…led the Hornets to an 11-4 win over UC Davis after going 4-for-4 with three home runs and seven RBIs…tied program single-game records for homers, RBIs and hits…had a homer against three different Aggie pitchers…had at least on RBI in all four at-bats…wasn't far off the home run cycle as she hit a three-run homer (first inning), a two-run blast (second inning), and a solo shot (sixth inning)…added an RBI-single in the fourth inning.

OTHER NOMINEES
Kaitlyn Driessen (Gymnastics) - Driessen claimed a share of the individual beam title at the MPSF Championship in Cedar City, Utah…Driessen matched her career high with a 9.900 to become the first Hornet to win the MPSF beam title since 2016…she advanced to compete at the NCAA Corvallis Regional as a beam specialist…that was her second beam individual title as she also placed first in the home dual against William & Mary.
Victoria Marthaler (Volleyball) - Led the Hornets to a come from behind 3-2 home win over Montana…Hornets had lost the first two sets…finished with a career-high 33 kills, the most all season by any player in the Big Sky…its not just the 33 kills that impressed, but Marthaler came up clutch in the fifth set…she had seven kills in that fifth frame, and accounted for kills on each of the team's final five points of the set…that included a kill at 14-13 of the fifth to deliver the Hornets an important victory.
Madi Mendoza (Softball) - Named to the all-tournament team at the Big Sky Tournament after a huge performance…in five tourney games, she hit .533 (8-for-15) with seven runs, three homers, seven RBIs and 18 total bases…also had a 1.200 slugging percentage…scored, hit safely, and posted RBIs in all five games…had multiple-hit games in three of the five contests…homered in three of the final four games of the tournament.
Irene Riva/Lou Baudouin (Tennis) - The doubles team combined in the fall to reach the semifinals of the ITA Northwest Regionals in Berkeley, Calif., falling just one set shy of an appearance in the finals…it was the furthest a Hornet doubles team has advanced at the tournament since 2011…defeated doubles teams from Stanford, the 24th-ranked and top-seeded duo from Washington, and the No. 7 seed pair from Oregon…eventually fell to the No. 5 seed Cal duo in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 7-10.
