Biography

2026 Season
• Named the Big Sky Conference Newcomer of the Year
• Also an honorable mention all-Big Sky selection
• One of three Hornets to start all 53 games (all those starts at shortstop)
• Named to the all-tournament team at the Big Sky Tournament
• Had a huge first season with the Hornets, batting .369 (58-for-157) with 38 runs, 14 doubles, nine homers, 30 RBIs and was 10-for-12 in stolen base attempts
• Also slugged .631 and had a .430 on-base percentage
• Named Big Sky Player of the Week on April 13
• Finished the season on a 15-game hitting streak
• During the 15-game streak, she hit .565 (26-for-45) with 20 runs, seven doubles, six homers, 18 RBIs and eight multi-hit games
• Defensively, her 128 assists led the Big Sky, and ranked 31st in the nation
• Averaged 2.42 assists per game
• In five Big Sky Tournament games, she hit .533 (8-for-15) with seven runs, three homers and seven RBIs
• Scored, hit safely, and had RBIs in each of those five games
• Had a walkoff grand slam in the Hornets’ 10-2 win over Portland State on Senior Day
• Hit .417 in Big Sky play with four homers and 16 RBIs in 15 games

Prior to Sacramento State
• Spent two seasons (2025, 2024) at UTEP of Conference USA
• Played in 97 consecutive games (96 starts) over the those two years - all at shortstop
• Named Conference USA’s Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore
• Named to the Conference USA all-freshman team in 2024
• In 2025, she hit .314 while leading Conference USA in assists (117) and double plays turned (16)
• Posted a .957 fielding percentage in 27 conference games
• Hit .314 with 20 runs, six doubles, two triples, a homer and 17 RBIs
• Also had five sacrifice flies (32nd in the nation) and went 6-for-7 in stolen base opportunities
• Hit safely in 10 of the final 12 games of the season, including a seven-game hitting streak
• Started all 47 of the team’s games at shortstop as a true freshman in 2024

High School
• A 2023 graduate of Gilbert High School in Gilbert, Ariz.
• Played four years of varsity softball for the Tigers
• A four-time first team 5A SanTan all-region selection

• Daughter of Ada and Fredrick Ramirez
• Has four brothers, Ryan, Joey, EJ, and Julian, and three sisters, Alexis, Ale, and Chapo
• A health science major
