Rowing's Jamisen Rasmussen has been named the Sacramento State Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year…the award is given to the Hornet student-athlete that has the highest cumulative grade point average among all females who are a senior athletically…to be eligible, a student-athlete must have competed at Sacramento State for more than one academic year…Rasmussen recently graduated summa cum laude with a health science degree and a 3.965 GPA…named to the Dean's Honor List all eight semesters at Sacramento State…a four-time conference all-academic selection, and a 2026 CRCA Scholar-Athlete honoree…this past season, she was recipient of the team's most inspirational award…began the season as the varsity four coxswain, but was the varsity eight cox by the end of the season…spent the final three races of the season with the varsity eight (Hornets' top boat), which included coxing the boat at the WCC Championship.
