The Sacramento State Women's Academic Team of the Year award goes to the golf program…the award is given to the women's team that posts the highest grade point average during the 2025-26 academic year…women's golf registered a 3.743 GPA during the academic year…it marks the second straight year, and five times in the last six years, the golf team has earned the award…the GPA was also the highest mark of any team (male or female) on campus…all seven members of the squad have a GPA above a 3.4, and five are above a 3.7…it should be noted that every Sacramento State women's program posted better than a 3.0 GPA during the academic year.
