GOLF NAMED THE SACRAMENTO STATE WOMEN'S ACADEMIC TEAM OF THE YEAR

The Sacramento State Women's Academic Team of the Year award goes to the golf program…the award is given to the women's team that posted the highest grade point average during the 2022-23 academic year…women's golf posted a 3.59 GPA during the academic year, finishing ahead of tennis (3.55) and gymnastics (3.54)…the GPA was also the highest mark of any team (male or female) on campus…this marks the third straight year women's golf has won the award…seven of the eight members of the team have above a 3.60 GPA…it should be noted that every Sacramento State women's program posted better than a 3.0 GPA during the academic year.
