Ali Fuamatu-Ma'afala is the winner of this year's Female Hornet Award…nominated by coaches, the honor is awarded to one male and female student-athlete that best exemplify the spirit of a Hornet with their sportsmanship, community service and intangibles that make them a great teammate.

• Completed her first season with the Hornets in 2022 after transferring from UNLV
• One of six Hornets to start all 18 games
• Heads the Women's Soccer Community Service Committee
• Ensures every member of the team serves at least 10 hours of community service during the academic year
• Orchestrated the team completing over 350 hours of community service
• Nickname is "Sister Ali" because she constantly preaches team sisterhood
• Selected by captains and coaches to serve on the Hornets' Team Impact committee
• Also selected to serve on the team's social media committee
• A business major with a 3.817 GPA
