Best Lee has been awarded Sacramento State's Clutch Performance of the Year…needing to win her match to keep the Hornets' Big Sky Tournament title hopes alive, Lee rallied back from down a set and 4-2 in the third to win the final four games and defeat Northern Arizona's Andrea Noguera, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4…that victory clinched the Hornets' 4-3 win in the quarterfinals…the Hornets would go on to beat Montana, 4-1, in the semifinals, and Weber State, 4-2, in the championship match to claim the program's first Big Sky crown since 2014.

Kaiden Bennett to Marcus Fulcher to beat Stanford (Football) - With the game tied, 23-23, Fulcher caught a 49-yard touchdown pass from Bennett with 1:32 to play in a 30-23 road win at Stanford…in one of the more memorable plays in school history, Bennett was flushed from the pocket and was able to get the pass off just before his knee touched down…Fulcher caught the pass, sidestepped a defender and then completed the 49-yard touchdown to give the team its third win over a Pac-12 opponent in school history.
Kade Brown performance in road win at USC (Baseball) - The freshman closer picked up Western Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors, in part, to his performance in the weekend finale against USC…got the final seven outs, stranding the tying run at third in the ninth inning to secure a 5-4 win over the Trojans…entered in the seventh with a man on and got a strikeout to end the inning, retired the side in order in the eighth, then struck out another batter in the ninth with a man at third to nail down the win.
Katie Marsh grand slam late in Big Sky Tourney win (Softball) - Marsh's fifth-inning grand slam snapped a 2-2 tie, and the Hornets held on late to beat Idaho State, 6-5, in the second round of the Big Sky Tournament…with one out, Marsh drove a 1-1 pitch over the right field wall to put the Hornets up, 6-2, in the eventual win…the homer was her first of the season…she would later be named Big Sky all-tournament after clubbing two home runs with six RBIs over four games of tourney play.
Sneha Sharan first place finish at Causeway Invitational (Golf) - Sharan earned her first career victory with a win at the Causeway Invitational at Del Paso CC…was one stroke off the lead until a birdie on the 15th hole…finished the tournament with four consecutive pars to share the lead and was awarded the title based on her score in the final round…shot 71-75-71-213 at the event.
Caitlin Volkmann 5th set performance in Big Sky title win (Volleyball) - Helped lead the Hornets to a 3-2 road win at Montana on the final day of the regular season that clinched the Hornets a Big Sky regular season championship…the rightside hitter had five kills in six swings during a fifth set the Hornets won by a 15-13 score…Volkmann accounted for half of the Hornets' kills in the fifth set while hitting .833…her five kills were just two fewer than the entire Montana team in the fifth set.
