Kara Houghton is the recipient of Sacramento State's Female Individual Performance of the Year…the Parker, Colo., native set the school individual record on bars after scoring 9.975 against Air Force…broke the mark of 9.950 which had been held by Caitlin Soliwoda (2016), Lori Gillette (2002) and Wendy Baisdon (1999)…received a perfect 10.0 from one of the two judges…helped the Hornets set the school overall scoring record with a 196.825 at the meet…her bars score led the team to a 49.300 for the event, which ranks second in school history.

Tiyanane Kamba-Griffin vs. UNLV (Volleyball) - Helped the Hornets sweep UNLV in the first round of the NIVC postseason tournament…Kamba-Griffin had 10 kills, five blocks and an .833 hitting percentage…the hitting percentage was the sixth best mark in program single-match history…she had 10 kills with zero errors in 12 swings…of her five blocks, three were solo stuffs…she accounted for a team-high 14.5 points during the match.
Andrea Lira at Big Sky Tournament (Softball) - In four games at the Big Sky Tournament, Lira hit .688 (11-for-16) with six runs, three doubles, three RBIs, an .875 slugging percentage and 1.563 ops…was named to the Big Sky all-tournament team for her efforts…over a three-game stretch during the tourney, Lira had a hit in nine straight at-bats…that is one shy of the program record, and tied for the 16th longest streak in NCAA Div. I history.
Abigail Lopez performances vs Northern Arizona and Northern Colorado (Soccer) - Earned Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week honors after back-to-back performances against Northern Arizona and Northern Colorado…she scored the game-winning goal in the second half at home to upset the defending league champ Lumberjacks…then added a goal with less than a minute to play to force a 2-2 draw at Northern Colorado two days later, helping the Hornets to an unbeaten start to league play.
Benthe Versteeg vs. Weber State (Basketball) - Set the Hornet Div. I single-game record with 14 assists to go along with a career high tying 26 points in a 75-44 win over Weber State…her 14 assists surpassed the previous mark of 13 set by Justyce Dawson at Southern Utah in 2017 and fell just one short of Tina Gray's all-time record of 15 set during the 1985-86 season…finished 10-of-13 from the field, adding five rebounds and a steal in 38 minutes…the 14 assists were the most in the Big Sky during the season.
