The Sacramento State Men's Academic Team of the Year award goes to the tennis program…the award is given to the men's team that posted the highest grade point average during the 2023-24 academic year…men's tennis registered a 3.338 GPA during the combined fall and spring, finishing just ahead of cross country (3.336)…men's tennis has now won the award seven times in the last eight years…of the nine players on the team's roster, five have GPAs of 3.385 or better…the Hornets won both the Big Sky Conference regular season and tournament championships, and qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
