Softball's Savannah Wahl and Soccer's Sammy Wong are co-winners of Sacramento State's Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year award…given to the Hornet student-athlete that has the highest cumulative grade point average among all females who are a senior athletically…both players graduated in May with a perfect 4.0 GPA…Wong (health science degree) was an all-Big Sky Conference performer last season while starting all 18 matches for the Hornets, which included playing the full 90 minutes seven times…Wahl (exercise science degree) made 21 appearances at pitcher for the Hornets this past season, which included 53 strikeouts in 72.0 innings…both players were Big Sky all-academic selections every season of their careers.
