Brandon Moreno is recipient of Sacramento State's Male Individual Performance of the Year…competing at the Bryan Clay Classic in Azusa, Calif., Moreno broke the school record in the 1500m…ran 3:46.15 which topped the previous mark by .55 seconds…that record had stood since 1989…Moreno also cracked the program's top 10 in the 800, the indoor 800, and mile during the year.

Sean Battistessa (Soccer) - Tallied just the eighth hat trick in school history to help lift the Hornets to a 5-0 shutout of Big West Conference rival CSUN…it marked the Hornets' first win over the Matadors since 2019, and the largest shutout victory since an 8-0 win over Loyola Marymount in 1993…opened his natural hat trick with a goal in the 23rd minute, adding a second in the 34th minute, and capping the day with a score in the 57th minute.
Jacob Holt (Basketball) - Beat the shot clock buzzer with a dagger 3-pointer to give the Hornets a 79-75 lead on the road at Weber State…the Hornets would eventually win, 80-77…Holt finished the game with 27 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and a pair of blocks in 29 minutes…buried a career-high five 3-pointers (5-for-9 from distance)…the 13 rebounds tied a career high and marked the senior's sixth double-double of the season…the 27 points were a game high and 10 more than any other Hornet.
Elias Mullican (Football) - Making just his second collegiate start, Mullican recorded a pair of interceptions in a 34-0 win at Texas A&M-Commerce…his first career pick came on a fourth-down play in the first quarter where he came down with the ball just outside the goal line…his biggest play of the night came in the second quarter when he jumped a route and returned an interception for a 35-yard touchdown…the pick six was the first by a Sacramento State player since 2022.
Donovan Sessoms (Soccer) - Scored a hat trick – the ninth hat trick in school history - to help the Hornets beat UC Santa Barbara, 3-1, at home…earned a spot on the National Team of the Week and Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Week…UCSB was receiving votes in the top 25…it marked the first win against UCSB since 2019, handing the Gauchos their first league loss of the season…scored just 3:28 into the match for the lead, then put his team ahead for good with scores in the 59th and 68th minutes.
