SAN DIEGO — Competing through a windy and rainy day, the Sacramento State track and field team recorded one school top 10 performance, six personal bests and 10 top eight finishes during the final day of the Aztec Invitational on Saturday at San Diego State.

Men's Track Highlights

• The Hornet men opened the day with Zachary Winger running 14.61 to place fifth in the 110-hurdles.
• Malachi Cox was 10th in the 400 in 48.35. Nathan Rider also set a PR in the race in 49.06.
• Jalen Adams led the team in the 100 after running 11.24 to place 23rd overall.
• Rider recorded his second personal best of the meet and finished in ninth place overall in the 200 with a time of 22.00. Jonathan Yates also set a PR in 22.71.
• The men's 4x400 relay team was second in 3:18.20.

Women's Track Highlights

• Kameryn Brown and Eliana Coburn each recorded season bests in the 100-hurdles running 14.36 and 15.04, respectively.
• Zoe Ewell paced the team in the 100 in 12.28.
• Mia Lawrence placed 11th in the 800 in 2:15.72. Dominique Abbott was close behind in2:16.36 while Theone Divinagracia set her PR in 2:20.65.
• Breija Stredic finished in 14th place in the 400-hurdles with a time of 1:03.65.
• The women's 4x400 relay team was eighth in 3:56.23.
• Kassidy Schroth had the top finish in the 200 in 25.82.

Men's Field Highlights

• Andrew Lehner won the pole vault after clearing 14-04.00.
• John Gibbs and Joshua Braun each finished in the top eight in the triple jump. Gibbs placed second with a best of 47-02.50 while Braun was eighth at 42-00.00.
• Miles Grant placed third in the high jump after a successful attempt at 6-05.00.
• Mason Mitchell guided the team in the long jump with a wind-aided leap of 23-06.75 to finish in sixth place.

Women's Field Highlights

• Tamia Ramos eclipsed 20 feet in the long jump for the first time in her career. Ramos was second overall with a best of 20-00.50. However, that attempt had a wind of 2.4 meters per second which kept it out of the school record book. Ramos' second-best attempt of the day of 19-03.50 was wind legal and moved her into 10th place in school history.
• Jayla Flowers was fifth in the triple jump with a best of 37-08.00.
• Chandler Miller set a personal best in the high jump at 5-01.25. She tied with teammate Abby Sheets for 11th place overall.
• Sheets was also the team's lone competitor in the shot put where she had a best of 37-05.00.
