SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State will host a premiere for "Fear Nothing: Sac State," a new documentary produced by Overtime and Omaha Productions, on Wednesday, April 29, at Hinde Auditorium on campus.
The event is open to the public and will feature the first episode screening, and a panel discussion with head coach
Mike Bibby, players
Prophet Johnson and
Shaqir O'Neal, and Overtime film director Dontae Putmon. The first 100 attendees receive a free signed poster.
Doors open at 3:45 p.m., and the event will run from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Media availability with interview opportunities will be 5:00-5:15 p.m.
"Fear Nothing: Sac State" followed the Hornets throughout the season. The six-episode series will take fans behind the scenes, and the first episode will air to the public on Roku on May 1. A new episode will air each Friday for six straight weeks on Roku. In addition, each episode will stream on Overtime's YouTube channel.
Wednesday's event provides an opportunity to preview the inaugural episode prior to its public release. Jason Ross, program director for Sports 1140 KHTK and broadcaster for the Sacramento Kings and Sacramento State Football, will be the Master of Ceremonies.
Following the episode screening, members of the audience will hear from Bibby, Johnson, O'Neal and Putmon. The crowd will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, and media are able to conduct interviews immediately following the event.
