MEN’S BASKETBALL SIGNS 6-FOOT-11 FORWARD/CENTER RIDVAN TUTIC

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento State head men's basketball coach Mike Bibby announced today that 6-foot-11, 245-pound forward/center Ridvan Tutic has signed with the Hornets after transferring from Stonehill College. Tutic will enroll at the University as a senior.

The Serbia native becomes the program's fourth signee for the 2026-27 season, joining Pima Community College forward Mason Hunt, Sandra Day O'Connor High School guard Melvin Stubbs Jr., and North Mecklenburg High School guard Ashton Pierce.

• A 6-foot-11, 245-pound forward/center from Novi Pazar, Serbia
• Will enter his senior season with the Hornets
• Played this past season at Stonehill College (Easton, Mass.) of the Northeast Conference
• Played one season (2024-25) at Maine (Orono, Maine) of the America East Conference
• Spent two years (2022-24) at New Hampshire (Durham, N.H.) of the America East Conference
• At Stonehill, he played in 30 games (24 starts) while averaging 7.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 22.4 minutes
• Shot 59% (92-155) from the field, converting 50% or better in 19 of 30 games
• Ranked third in the Northeast Conference in both rebounding and field goal percentage
• Scored in double figures nine times, pulled double-digit rebounds on 11 occasions, and posted five double-doubles
• Season-high 21 points against New Hampshire, and season-best 15 rebounds vs. Mercyhurst
• As a sophomore at Maine, he played in 25 games for a squad that posted 20 victories
• Averaged 2.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 9.6 minutes while shooting 56% from the field
• Redshirted the 2023-24 season at New Hampshire. During his one active season with the Wildcats (2022-23), he was named to the America East All-Rookie Team
• As a true freshman at New Hampshire, he played in 29 games (22 starts) while averaging 3.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 19.4 minutes. Shot 54% from the field
• Played prep basketball at Gimnazija Novi Pazar (Novi Pazar, Serbia), and was a 4.0 student in high school
• Played club ball for KK Stari Ras (Novi Pazar, Serbia)
