RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Tia Oliver and
Ryan Martin each finished in the top 20 to guide the Sacramento State women's and men's cross country teams at the UCR Invitational on Saturday morning. The Hornet women placed third among the NCAA Div. I teams in the field and were sixth overall. The men finished in 13
th place.

Oliver had the top time on the team for the first time this season as the senior completed the 6K course in 20:48.9 to place 13
th overall.
Anna Harmon was just under 10 seconds behind Oliver as she ran 20:58.6 to take 21
st place.
Marina Lipary and
Sophia Dudley finished in 31
st and 52
nd, respectively. Lipary posted a time of 21:03.7 while Dudley crossed in 21:20.1.
Dominique Abbott completed the team score as she finished 116
th in 21:55.2. That time was over 90 seconds faster than her previous season best.

Martin has led the team in all three meets this season. On Saturday, he ran 24:13.4 to finish in 19
th place.
Brandon Moreno ranked second on the team, and 34
th overall, with a time of 24:27.5. The remaining three times towards the team total finished within 15 seconds on one another.
Koby Sperandeo was 100
th in 25:12.3.
Thomas Rasner ran 25:19.2 to place 110
th and
Cooper Love placed 124
th in 25:27.3.

San Francisco claimed both team titles. The Dons finished first in the women's competition with 45 points while Stanislaus State was second with 93. Sacramento State tallied 221 points. In the men's race, USF had 33 points and was well clear of second-place Long Beach State (170). The Hornets completed the race with 326 points.

Sacramento State will next run at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on Oct. 18.
