MOSCOW, Idaho — The Sacramento State track and field teams concluded the Lauren McCluskey Memorial by recorded one school top 10, 17 top eight finishes and nine personal bests on Saturday at the Kibbie Dome.
Â
The day began with the completion of the heptathlon.
Jack Charlton set the fastest time in the field by completing the 60-hurdles in 8.55 seconds.
Joshua Braun set his personal best in the pole vault with a clearance at 13-06.25. That height was 5.5 inches above his previous best. Neither of the pair completed all seven events of the heptathlon as Charlton dropped out following the hurdles and Braun did not finish the 1000.
Â
Sacramento State will continue its compact indoor season next weekend at the UW Invite in Seattle beginning on Friday.

She was joined in the top three by Emily Giddens (3rd, 55.93) and Breija Stredic (4th, 56.46). Giddens' time left her .04 seconds out of the school top 10.
- Ava Fitzgerald finished first in the 60-hurdles. Fitzgerald had the fastest time in the qualifying round at 8.55 and ran 8.56 in the finals.
- Jessi Barry placed second in the 60 with a mark of 7.59 in the finals. Barry had the top time in the qualifying round in 7.56. Zoe Ewell ran 7.62 in the opening round but did not compete in the finals.
