SALEM, Ore. -- Sacramento State remained unbeaten during the early stages of the 2024 beach volleyball season after victories today over Portland (5-0) and Corban (4-1) at the Corban Beach Volleyball Courts.
The Hornets are now 3-0 for just the second time in program history, joining the 2017 squad who also accomplished the feat. Sacramento State, which beat Bushnell yesterday, played all three matches over the last two days in Salem, Ore. Corban, which hosted the tournament, is currently ranked fourth in the nation in the NAIA ranks.
Of the Hornets' three victories this year, they have dropped just one match, outscoring the opposition by a 14-1 margin.

The only loss suffered today was at No. 5 against Corban where

The Hornets are back in action next Saturday when they play three matches in Santa Cruz. That includes matchups vs. Santa Clara (9 a.m.), Portland (noon) and Pacific (2 p.m.).
