VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Sneha Sharan's 1-under par round of 69 led the Sacramento State women's golf team in the second round of the Evie Odom Invitational on Saturday at Princess Anne Country Club. The Hornets are in third place in the team standings.

Sharan had an adventurous first half of her round, posting three birdies and three bogeys on the opening nine holes. She had a much calmer back nine with eight pars to go along with a birdie on the par-4 16
th. Sharan moved into a tie for fourth place overall at 70-69-139 and is five strokes behind College of Charleston's Emma Schimpf for the individual lead.

Freshman
Tova Hatton shot 71 for the second-lowest score for Sacramento State during the round. Hatton had two birdies and three bogeys on the front nine and followed with two birdies and two bogeys on the back nine.

Ella Kraft is tied for 11
th overall following rounds of 69-72-141. Kraft had the best front nine for the team, recording birdies on Nos. 3 and 6 as well as a bogey on No. 4 to stand at 1-under. Kraft got to 2-under following a birdie on the par-4 12
th but returned to even following a double bogey on the next hole. She played her final four holes at 2-over with a birdie on No. 16 and bogeys on Nos. 15, 17 and 18.

Darla May Dela Torre each shot 74 in the second round. Maurice had a birdie, two bogeys and a double bogey on the front nine. She added a birdie and two bogeys on the back half. Dela Torre was even through nine holes with a pair of birdies and bogeys. She had a birdie, three bogeys and a double bogey on the back nine.

College of Charleston is 3-over as a team and will take a 4-shot lead over Furman into Sunday's final round. Sacramento State is 8-over and will be paired with the two teams in the round. Old Dominion and Western Kentucky are tied for fourth place at 17-over. Sacramento State will begin the third round at 7:10 a.m. PT on Sunday morning.
