LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. — Four members of the Sacramento State women's golf team earned all-Big Sky Conference honors and the team continued its run of Freshman of the Year awardees, it was announced today.

The Hornets had three golfers named to the first team in
Tova Hatton,
Ella Kraft and
Sophia Lee. Hatton led the team with a scoring average of 72.96 in 27 rounds. Her season was highlighted by a tie for first place at the Juli Inkster Invitational and saw her finish with three top-10 and four top-20 finishes. During the year, she had 11 rounds of par or better, including a 68 at the Juli Inkster Invitational and a 69 at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.

Kraft earned all-Big Sky honors for the fourth time in her career and the third time on the first team. Â The senior began the season with a win at the Dick McGuire Invitational in New Mexico and has added three other top-10 showings. Kraft heads into the Big Sky Championship with a scoring average of 73.00 in 27 rounds and has been at below par in over half her rounds (15-of-27).

After a fantastic debut season which saw her in the lineup for all nine tournaments, Lee was named the Big Sky Freshman of the Year and becomes the sixth Hornet to earn the honor since 2020. Lee has averaged 73.78 and is coming off her best 54-hole performance of the year as she shot 71-70-70-211 at the par-72 Wyoming Cowgirl Classic to tie for eighth place. She also tied for second at the Causeway Invitational at Del Paso CC.

Darla May Dela Torre, who was the Big Sky Freshman of the Year in 2024-25, was named to the second team this season. Dela Torre competed in every tournament for the team and averaged 74.70. She placed 10
th at the Dick McGuire Invitational for her top finish and had a low round of 69 at Golf Iconic Classic.

Northern Arizona's Lizzy Neale was named the Big Sky Player of the Year.

Sacramento State will next compete at the Big Sky Championship on Monday, Apr. 20. The three-day, three-round tournament will be held at Wigwam GC in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
