KAPOLEI, Hawaii — Ella Kraft shot 69 and
Caitlin Maurice 70 to help the Sacramento State women's golf team to a 2-under par round of 286 and take the Hornets into sixth place in the final round of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Wednesday.

Kraft climbed four spots in the individual standings and finished tied for 11
th place with her second under-par round of the tournament. The junior shot 68-75-69-212 for her third-lowest 54-hole score of her career. On Wednesday, Kraft started off the seventh hole with six consecutive pars. She jumped to 3-over after a bogey on No. 13 and a double-bogey on the par-5 14
th. Kraft made her move beginning with a birdie on the par-3 16
th. An eagle on the par-5, 509-yard 17
th hole returned her to even before she birdies Nos. 1-3 to get to 3-under.

Maurice had the best start among Hornets  with birdies on two of her first four holes. After a bogey on the par-3 12
th, she eagled the par-5 14
th to get to 3-under. Maurice then parred her next three holes and birdied No. 18 to move to 4-under. Back on the front side of the course, she parred the first four holes but had bogeys on No. 5 and 6 before closing with a par.

Sneha Sharan completed the trio of Sacramento State women in the top 20 as the senior tied for 20
th at 74-69-72-215. Sharan opened the day with a bogey-birdie-bogey sequence on her first three holes. A pair of bogeys on Nos. 14 and 16 took her to 3-over before she birdied Nos. 18, 1 and 5 to get back to even.

Freshman
Darla May Dela Torre shot 75 in the final round for the fourth score towards the team total. Dela Torre was 1-under through her first 10 holes with two birdies and a bogey. However, she was 5-over on Nos. 1-8 to move to 4-over before wrapping up the tournament with a birdie on the par-3 eighth.

Colorado State maintained its team lead to win the tournament at 23-under. The Rams were trailed by Kansas State (20-under), Grand Canyon (9-under), UC Irvine (9-under) and Santa Clara (even) in the top five.

Lacey Uchida was the medalist at 12-under and was under par in all three rounds. Carla Bernat of Kansas State, who's 25
th in the Clippd NCAA Div. I rankings, was two-strokes back in second place.

The tournament was the final event for Sacramento State during the fall. Maurice had the best scoring average on the team through four tournaments, finishing the fall at 72.50 with an average of 1.00 strokes over par per round. Sharan was close behind with a mark of 72.58 strokes per round (+1.08 relative to par per round).
