Darla May Dela Torre recorded her second top 20 finish in as many tournaments this season as she tied for 15
th place at The Molly Collegiate Classic on Tuesday at Bayonet GC. The Sacramento State women's golf team placed eighth with a total of 307-297-297-901.

Dela Torre posted her fourth round of par or better this season after finishing even on Tuesday. Her 54-hole total of 71-75-72-218 placed her at 2-over in the tournament. The freshman had pars on her first four holes and then birdied the par-4 second. A bogey on No.3 returned her to even where she remained until a birdie on the par-4 eighth. Dela Torre bogeyed the par-4 ninth and stayed even for the remainder of the day with six pars.

Sneha Sharan placed 26
th at 74-77-73-224. Sharan had a quick start with birdies on Nos. 16 and 1 to stand at 2-under through her first five holes. However, bogeys on Nos. 6, 10 and 12 took her to 1-over before she finished with a birdie on No. 13 and a bogey on No. 14.

Caitlin Maurice and
Ella Kraft each shot 76 on Tuesday with the pair each having two birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey. Maurice completed the tournament at 81-72-76-229 to tie for 37
th while Kraft had rounds of 83-75-76-234 to finish 46
th.

Stanford maintained its first-day lead to win the tournament by 18 shots of California. The Cardinal were 13-under as a team and were joined in the top five by the Golden Bears (5-over), Washington (16-over) and San Jose State and UC Davis (20-over).

Paula Martin Sampedero of Stanford and Riana Mission of USF were co-medalists at 7-under.

Sacramento State will have a quick turnaround before its next tournament as the team will play at the Evie Odom Invitational in Virginia Beach, Va., beginning on Friday.
