STOCKTON, Calif. -- Sacramento State sent six players to the Pacific Tennis Invitational, held over the weekend at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center on the Pacific campus.

The six Hornets - Rudolfs Aksenoks, Michael Gravel, Mark Keki, Hayden Rand, Jan Silva and Mate Voros - each competed in both the singles and doubles draws.

Five Hornets won at least one singles match, including Aksenoks, Rand and Keki going 2-1 in their matches.

In doubles play, Sacramento State combined to go 7-2 with the duos of Keki/Voros, and Gravel/Rand both going 3-0 over the weekend.

This marked the final fall tournament as Sacramento State does not play again until competing at the National Collegiate Tennis Classic in Palm Springs (Jan. 12-14). The Hornets' first dual of the spring season is Jan. 18 at UC San Diego.
