SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State head men's tennis coach
Mikus Losbergs announced today that Thomas Ranson will play for the Hornets, and enroll as a freshman at the University in the fall.
Ranson becomes Losbergs' third signee for the 2026-27 season.

• A 2025 graduate of Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne
• Won under-18s national Australian doubles championship
• UTR singles - 11.27
• UTR doubles - 11.31
• ITF pro ranking - 2125
• ITF Jr. ranking - 1764
• In 2025 for Caulfield Grammar, he was the team captain and helped the squad to an APS championship
• That season, he went 27-0 in singles play
• Played for both the Kooyong Tennis Club, and Team Victoria
