TRACK & FIELD SETS TWO SCHOOL RECORDS AT WINDY SAC STATE INVITE

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State track and field team had individuals set a pair of school records and combine to win 16 event titles on the way to having both the men and women finish in first place at the Sacramento State Invite on Saturday at Hornet Stadium.

The Hornet women scored 191 points behind eight individual wins and a school record from Shantel Nnaji. That total left the team 34 points ahead of Chico State who finished in second place. The men scored 150 points and also won eight events, including a school record from Evan Stork. Chico State was also second in that standing with 137 points.

Sacramento State will next compete at the Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational next week in Southern California.
