GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Sacramento State dominated a Big Sky foe again on Sunday in Grand Forks, sweeping doubles and not dropping a set in singles for a 7-0 win over North Dakota, the team's 112th straight Big Sky victory. The Hornets improved to 7-0 in Big Sky play and 9-10 overall while North Dakota moved to 6-9 and 3-4 in conference.

After dropping their first Big Sky doubles match of the season on Saturday at Northern Colorado, the Hornets swept through doubles play on Sunday. The No. 2 duo of sophomore Daria Savchenko and senior Katharina Knoebl scored an 8-2 win as did freshmen Deimante Bulatovaite and Alina Soltanici at No. 3 to lead the way.

The first Hornet singles win came by default as UND's Faith Lee had to retire in the second set at No. 4 against Hornet sophomore Olivia Boija, who had a 6-1, 4-1 lead. Senior Sophie Lohscheidt cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 3 and Bulatovaite clinched the Hornet win with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 6. Knoebl rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5 and Savchenko and Soltanici won in straight sets at No. 1 and 2, respectively, to complete the sweep.

Sacramento State plays its last two home matches of the season next weekend on campus, hosting UC Irvine on Saturday and No. 41 Saint Mary's on Sunday.
