MEN’S TENNIS RELEASES THE 2025-26 SCHEDULE

SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State first-year head coach Mikus Losbergs released the program's 2025-26 schedule today.

The Hornets kick things off with three fall tournaments during the month of October that are each within driving distance of Sacramento. That includes the Aggie Invitational in Davis (Oct. 10-12), ITA Northwest Regionals in Stockton (Oct. 16-21), and the Pacific Invitational in Stockton (Oct. 31-Nov. 2).

The spring schedule begins on Jan. 14 with a doubleheader at UC Riverside, and the regular season concludes with a home match April 16 vs. Portland State. The Big Sky Conference Tournament in Phoenix follows on April 23-25.

The Hornets will play 22 regular season matches during the spring, including 11 at home and 11 on the road. The team's home opener is slated for Jan. 25 against Nevada.

Highlighting the schedule are a pair of lengthy homestands. That includes a five-match homestand from Feb. 22-March 11 that features the 14th-annual Golden State Invitational (March 6-7), a two-day tournament co-hosted with UC Davis. That homestand also includes the Big Sky opener against Weber State on Feb. 28.

The Hornets also play four straight at home from March 22-April 4, which includes matchups vs. Northern Arizona, UC San Diego, UC Riverside and Idaho State, respectively. Sacramento State plays three times against UC Riverside, including the season-opening doubleheader in Riverside.

The Big Sky is now an eight-member league for men's tennis as Eastern Washington discontinued its program. The Hornets will play each of the other seven conference members, with four of those matches coming at home.
