SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State had a pair of underclassmen named to the Big Sky all-conference singles team, comprised of sophomore
Henry Lamchinniah (first team) and freshman
Martin Duris (honorable mention).
Lamchinniah, one of the top players in the Big Sky, was selected unanimously to the first team.
Sacramento State, which has used four freshmen and one sophomore in the singles lineup all season, will bring a 10-11 overall record and 3-5 conference mark into this week's Big Sky Tournament in Phoenix. The Hornets will play Montana in the first round of the three-day, single elimination event on Thursday at 8 a.m. The winner of that match will play in Friday's semis at 8 a.m. The championship is Saturday morning.
The Hornets will attempt to win their second consecutive Big Sky Tournament championship, and advance to their second straight NCAA Tournament.

• Has played No. 1 in the Hornets' singles lineup all year
• Owns a 14-5 singles record (6-2 in the Big Sky), and has won eight of his last 10 matches
• That includes a six-match winning streak from March 5-20
• Nine of his 14 singles wins have come in straight sets
• 14 victories are a team high, and second most among all No. 1 players in the conference
• Also owns a 10-7 doubles record with each of those 17 matches coming at No. 1
• That includes a 9-6 record with doubles partner

• Owns a 13-6 singles record, including 2-1 at No. 4, and 11-5 at No. 5
• Won seven straight singles matches between March 5-22
• Has won nine of his last 11 singles matches entering the Big Sky Tournament
• Eight straight set victories
• Has seven doubles wins, including a 6-4 record at No. 3
• Primarily played with doubles partner
