SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento State head men's soccer coach Michael Linenberger announced a second spring addition to his 2025 roster, welcoming Modesto Junior College standout Eli Reyneveld to the fold on Friday.
"We are excited to bring Elijah into our program," Linenberger said. "He is a dangerous attacking player who is fast and strong and works extremely hard on both sides of the ball. We expect him to make an immediate impact."
Reyneveld, a six-foot, 180-pound striker from Modesto, Calif., who prepped at Downey HS where he was named the offensive player of the year as a senior, wrapped up a stellar 2024 campaign for the Pirates after being named to the California Community College Soccer Coaches Association All-State team in addition to CCCSC all-region and Big 8 Conference Offensive Most Valuable Player honors.
Starting all 21 matches as a sophomore last season, Reyneveld led the team and the conference in scoring with 25 points, finding the back of the net 10 times to go along with five assists. He finished with six points in a 5-1 win over Contra Costa College on Sept. 20, scoring twice and notching two assists, while adding a pair of goals in a 2-2 draw with Cosumnes River College on Nov. 1.
