KYRA JEFFERSON NAMED TO US COACHING STAFF AT WORLD RELAYS

Will represent Team USA in Botswana

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento State assistant coach Kyra Jeffers on was named to the Team USA coaching staff at the World Athletics Relays in Gaborone, Botswana. The meet will take place on May 2-3 at the Botswana National Stadium. The competition serves as a qualifier for the 2027 World Athletics Championships in Beijing, China and the 2026 World Ultimate Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Jefferson returns to the Team USA staff after serving as an assistant at the 2025 World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China. That year, the United States mixed 4x400 won gold and the men's 4x100 and women's 4x400 claimed silver.
