CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Sacramento State split a pair of matches at Clearwater Beach, falling to host South Florida, 4-1, before defeating Sam Houston, 4-1.
The Hornets played four matches over two days in Florida, which included yesterday's 5-0 victory over Stephen F. Austin and 4-1 loss to UAB.
Sacramento State improved to 11-12 overall. The Hornets' 11 wins are the most in program history (2013-pres.) as the previous mark was eight, set in 2017.
