POCATELLO, Idaho — Eli Kaltreider won the men's high jump and
Jamar Andrews, Jr., was the individual champion in the triple jump to lead eight all-Big Sky selections for Sacramento State during the final day of the Big Sky Indoor Championships on Saturday at Idaho State.
Â
The Hornet men's and women's teams each placed sixth in the meet. The men's team tallied 59 total points while the women tied for sixth with 38. Northern Arizona won both team titles in decided fashion. The Lumberjacks women scored 164.5 points while the men had 200 — more than double the next closest team.

Men's Team Highlights
- Kaltreider started the day by winning the high jump with a career best of 7-00.25. The sophomore is the second consecutive Hornet to win the event as he follows Miles Grant. Kaltreider moved into third place in school history and joins Joe Radan (1979) and Grant (2025) as the only Sacramento State men to clear seven feet in an indoor meet.
- Andrews set the school record in the triple jump and moved into a tie for 23rd nationally in the event this season. His jump of 52-06.50 is 15 inches farther than the next closest in program history. Kellan Quinley also earned all-Big Sky honors as he placed third in the event with a best of 49-08.50 which is tied for fifth in the Hornet record book.
- Tim Edwards, Jr., earned all-Big Sky accolades after placing second in the 400 and was one of two Hornets to score points in the event. Edwards ran 47.65 while Curtis Reagor crossed in 48.42 to place sixth.
- Nathan Rider finished third in the 200. Rider, who set the school record earlier this season, ran 21.14.
- The men's 4x400 relay team of Reagor, Rider, Ife Orekoya and Edwards closed the meet by setting the school record in 3:11.72. The time shattered the previous record of 3:13.37 which had stood since 2015.
