SEATTLE — Eleven members of the Sacramento State track and field teams competed at the UW Mile City meet on Saturday at Dempsey Indoor. All 11 runners were part of the open mile races, part of 76 heats of the distance throughout the day.

In the women's race, three Hornets recorded personal bests.
Sophia Dudley led the team's finishers in 4:59.06 which took 21.84 seconds off her previous best.
Anna Harmon took 18.72 seconds off her PR by running 5:05.02 on Saturday.

Ryan Martin, who ran the second-fastest 3K all-time in school history last night, paced the team in the mile on Saturday in 4:11.09. That time was just over a second over his PR which stands in fourth in the school record book.

Thomas Rasner (4:29.70) also finished in sub 4:30.

Sacramento State will next compete at the Wolf Pack Classic & Combined in Sparks, Nev. The meet will run from Feb. 5-7.
