MORAGA, Calif. -- Sacramento State fell at Saint Mary's, 5-0, on Saturday afternoon in the Hornets' final beach match of the regular season.
The Hornets (7-19), who have played 16 of their 26 matches away from home, will now turn their attention to the Big West Conference Championship, which takes place April 25-26 in Long Beach.
Sacramento State played five nationally ranked opponents this season including a doubleheader yesterday at 8th-ranked Cal.

Greta Davis narrowly lost by a 21-12, 18-21, 15-13 score. Each of Sacramento State's other four doubles teams fell in straight sets.
Entering the season, the Hornets' school single-season record for most individual wins was 11. Four players surpassed that mark this season, including
Caitlin Volkmann (13),
Greta Davis (13), Hayes (12) and Davis (12). It was Volkmann that set the record at 11 a year ago.
Seven teams will compete in the Big West Championship, which is a double elimination event hosted by Long Beach State. Sacramento State will play its first match on Thursday, April 25, against an opponent TBA.
