LEEBRICK WRAPS UP NCAA MORGAN HILL REGIONAL

MORGAN HILL, Calif. — Casey Leebrick concluded his Sacramento State career by tying for 69th at the NCAA Morgan Hill Regional on Wednesday. The senior totaled 76-79-80-235 at the event.

Leebrick started his third round with a bogey on the par-4 first and rose to 3-over following a double bogey on the par-4 fourth. He finished the front nine at just one over par with birdies on the par-4 sixth and ninth holes. Leebrick was 7-over on his final nine holes with bogeys on Nos. 11, 15 and 17 and a quadruple bogey on the par-4 16th.

The San Luis Obispo, Calif., native finished his season with a scoring average of 73.03 which places him 13th in school single-season history. His year was highlighted by a victory at the Big Sky Championship where he shot 64-71-67-202 to set the school 54-hole record. Leebrick concluded the year with 16 rounds at or below par, including seven in the 60s.

He leaves Sacramento State tied for fifth with a career scoring average of 73.22 in 111 rounds. He holds the Sacramento State record with 47 rounds at or below par, is second with 16 career rounds in the 60s and tied for 10th with 13 top-20 finishes.
