FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- In a match littered with close outcomes, Sacramento State fell on the road at Northern Arizona, 5-2, on Thursday morning.
The Lumberjacks, who are ranked 61st in the nation, improved to 17-2 overall, 4-0 in the Big Sky Conference, and 7-1 at home. Sacramento State (11-5, 4-2) wasn't far off beating NAU, but lost a close doubles point, and tight singles matches at Nos. 3 and 4.
The Hornets received wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, as
Mark Keki defeated Maikel De Boes, 7-5, 7-6, and
Mate Voros beat Piotr Galus, 7-6, 0-6, 6-1.
Sacramento State lost just its fifth doubles point of the season as the No. 1 tandem of Keki/Voros and No. 2

Jan Silva both lost by 6-4 scores.
In singles play, Chodur lost at No. 3 (7-5, 7-5) and Silva fell at No. 4 in three sets.
Ori Maior dropped his match at No. 5 (6-3, 6-3) and
Rudolfs Aksenoks fell at No. 6 (7-6, 6-3).
The singles win for Keki was his eighth straight, and he improved to 10-1 this season, and 5-0 in conference play.
Sacramento State has just two regular season matches remaining. That includes a pair of home matchups vs. Idaho on April 15, and UC Davis on April 19. The Big Sky Tournament takes place in Phoenix on April 27-29.
