Biography
2023 Season
• Played in 16 spring dual singles matches (three went unfinished)
• Posted a 7-6 record, including 4-3 in Big Sky regular season play
• Went 7-4 in dual doubles, including 4-2 against league opposition
• In singles, he was 3-2 at No. 4, and 4-4 at No. 5
• All seven wins came in straight sets
• In doubles, he was 7-3 at the No. 3 spot
• Went 5-2 with doubles partner Hayden Rand, 2-1 with Jan Silva, and 0-1 with Adam Chodur
• Teamed with Silva to win their Big Sky Tourney doubles match in the Big Sky Tourney semis
• Finished Hornet career with a 17-15 dual singles record, and 23-9 dual doubles record
• A Big Sky all-academic, and ITA Scholar-Athlete selection for the second straight year
• Recipient of the Big Sky Scholar-Athlete award
2022 Season
• One of the top Hornet players in his first season with the program
• In spring dual matches, he went 16-5 in doubles play, and 10-9 in singles
• Went 5-3 in Big Sky matches in both singles and doubles
• Played at four different positions in singles, including 1-0 at No. 1, 3-4 at No. 3, 6-4 at No. 4, and 0-1 at No. 5
• Won seven of his final 11 singles matches of the season
• Nine of his 10 singles wins came in straight sets
• Was brilliant in doubles play, posting a 16-5 record, including 14-3 at No. 2 and 2-2 at No. 3
• Combined with Jan Silva to go 11-1 at No. 2
• Also 4-2 with Hayden Rand
• A Big Sky all-academic, and ITA Scholar-Athlete selection
Prior to Sacramento State
• Played two years (2020, 2021) at San Francisco, a member of the West Coast Conference
• As a sophomore in 2021, he played at Nos. 3 and 4 singles for the Dons
• Also primarily played at No. 1 doubles
• As a freshman in 2020, Maior played No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles the majority of the season
• Went 8-4 in singles play, which included a six-match winning streak
• Posted a 7-5 record in doubles, with the majority of those wins coming at No. 1.

• A 2018 graduate of Rothberg International School in Ramat Hasharon, Israel

• In 2018, he was ranked fourth in Israel in U23 singles play
• Ranked as high as 1,351st in the world in ATP Tour doubles
