SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Three Sacramento State women's soccer players were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-West Region team, the organization announced Monday.
Mikayla Reed and Kylee Kim-Bustillos were both named to the region's second team while Ariana Nino received a third team selection.
Reed started every match and played every minute of the 2019 season for Sacramento State on her way to earning the Big Sky's co-Defensive Player of the Year award. A senior centerback, Reed was also named to the Big Sky's first team all-conference, becoming the first four-time all-league selection for the Hornets since 2007.
Kim-Bustillos, a junior forward, finished the season as the Big Sky's leading scorer with 21 points and nine goals scored. Kim-Bustillos, also a first team selection, was named the Big Sky's Offensive Player of the Year.

Nino, a junior midfielder, was another of Sacramento State's Big Sky first team selections. She finished the season with 11 points - a career high and among the midfield leaders in the league.
In total, five players from the Big Sky Conference were selected named all-Region by the United Soccer Coaches. Sacramento State was the only program with multiple selections.
