SACRAMENTO, Calif. — For the first time in school history, the Sacramento State football team will play a game at Oregon. The Hornets and Ducks announced today that the teams will meet on Sept. 9, 2028 at Autzen Stadium. The game will also be the first matchup against a Big Ten opponent in Sacramento State's program history.
 
The Hornets have previously announced future games against Cal and North Dakota State in 2027 and a game at Oregon State in 2029.
 
Sacramento State will start its 2026 season at Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Aug. 29. The team's first home game will come on Saturday, Sept. 5, against Mississippi Valley State. Season and single-game tickets are available for purchase HERE.
