SACRAMENTO, Calif. — With the 2025 Sacramento State football home opener just days away, fans attending games at Hornet Stadium this season can expect a series of upgrades aimed at amplifying energy and the fan experience.

- Sept 13 – vs Mercyhurst at 6 p.m.
- Sept 20 – vs Central Arkansas at 6 p.m.
- Sept 27 – vs Cal Poly* at 6 p.m.
- Oct 18 – vs Northern Colorado* - Homecoming at 6p.m.
- Oct 24 (Friday) – vs Montana* at 7:30 p.m.
- Nov 15 – vs Idaho* at 6 p.m.
*Denotes Big Sky Conference games
New Seating & Premium Areas
Buzz Zone: Located behind the south end zone, enjoy the game from field level in individual chair back seats. New food and beverage options will also be located directly behind the seating section for easy access.
Chick-fil-A Arden Fair Field Suites: Three suites are available for each game. The suites are a great way to entertain clients, host valuable employees or just hang out with your family or friends. Situated just outside the north end zone, you and your group will be the envy of all the other fans in the stadium with this prime location.
Preferred General Admission: Sections 212 and 214 (surrounding the chair back section) will be converted to preferred general admission this season. Each row will be cushioned and will provide extra leg room compared to standard general admission.
Food, Fun & Postgame Festivities
South End Zone Concessions: A new concessions area will be located on the field level behind the south end zone. This location will allow fans to not miss a minute of the action.
Postgame Performances: Live music performances will occur following each home game. The concerts will be held on the field directly in front of the student sections.
Postgame Fireworks: Fireworks are back! Immediately following all home games, the sky will be lit up with a fireworks show before the postgame performance begins.
Enhanced Amenities
New Lighting: Upgraded LED lighting has been installed at Hornet Stadium. The system will allow for better visibility on the field and some surprise features to enhance the game environment.
Digital On-Field Boards: New digital video panels will be on the field. The boards will help add to the game environment with fan messaging.
Clear Bag Policy: For the safety of all guests, a strictly enforced clear bag policy is now in effect.
Additional Restrooms: More restrooms have been added to reduce wait times and improve guest experience.
