WOMEN’S TENNIS GAINS COMMITMENT FROM TEMENUGOV

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State women's tennis team gained a third commitment for the 2025-26 season as Head Coach Sophie Breault announced Czech-American Isabella Temenugov has agreed to join the Hornets.

Temenugov, who was born in Prague in the Czech Republic, currently resides in Ojai, Calif., and joins fellow Hornet commits in Mexico's Cami Maldonado Gutierrez (release) and Germany's Lisann Brinkmann (release).

After attending the American Academy in Brno, Czech Republic, Temenugov has risen the ranks to become the 32nd-ranked junior in Southern California and has a number of USTA titles under her belt, including an L3 doubles title, an L4 finals appearance, and numerous L5 championships in singles.

In the Czech Republic, she was ranked as high as No. 24 in juniors, listing her biggest achievements as being a two-time finalist in singles and a three-time doubles winner at the CTS JMK Championship.

Internationally, she ranked No. 1058 in the junior ITF rankings (as oof January of 2024) and won four doubles titles during her junior career: a J30 tournament in Austria in January of 2024 and three more in 2023 in Austria, Macedonia, and Malta.
