SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State made quick work of Eastern Washington as all six players posted straight-set singles victories on the way to a 7-0 win over the Eagles on Saturday afternoon on campus.
The Hornets have won three straight while improving to 8-7 overall and 2-3 in the Big Sky Conference. Sacramento State has also won three straight, and five of its last six, at home. The team is 6-2 on campus, which included three wins last week on the home courts.
In today's match, the Hornets kicked things off by taking the doubles point.

Nick Bowles (6-3 at No. 2) made quick work of their opponents to put Sacramento State up, 1-0.
All six singles matches were finished in quick fashion. Lamchinniah (6-3, 6-2 at No. 1), Libal (6-2, 6-4 at No. 2), Bowles (6-3, 6-1 at No. 3), Rand (6-0, 6-2 at No. 4),
Martin Duris (6-4, 6-2 at No. 5), and
David Dai (6-2, 6-1 at No. 6) each posted victories.
In the process, Lamchinniah and Duris both won their fifth consecutive singles match.
The Hornets had little trouble despite using four freshmen and a sophomore in the singles lineup. Every match this season has included four freshmen and a sophomore in the lineup.
Sacramento State continues its seven-match homestand on Thursday vs. Montana State at 1 p.m., and Saturday vs. Pacific at noon. The Hornets are 4-1 on the homestand thus far.
