SACRAMENTO, Calif. — For the fifth consecutive season, KMAX 31 will serve as the regional home for Sacramento State football — airing six games in the Sacramento market beginning with this Saturday's contest at Fresno State. Along with the games broadcast locally, all contests can be heard on ESPN 1320 AM and the final nine regular season games will be on ESPN+.
KMAX 31 will air all five home games with Jason Ross (play-by-play) and Darren Arbet (analyst) returning to the broadcast. The station will also pick up the Fresno State production of this Saturday's game from Valley Children's Stadium at 7 p.m.
The Big Sky Conference will continue its partnership with ESPN+ allowing for all conference home and road games in football, women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball and softball being covered on the streaming service.
All Hornet football games will air on ESPN 1320 AM as well as the Audacy app. Jason Ross, Steve McElroy (analyst) and Danny Sullivan (sideline) will call the action for road games while Dave Lewis will handle the play-by-play for the five homes games.
