OGDEN, Utah -- Sacramento State posted a season-best 17.0 team blocks, and overcame a 2-1 sets deficit to pick up a huge 3-2 road win (25-23, 20-25, 21-25, 25-17, 15-9) at Weber State on Saturday afternoon at Swenson Gym.
Of those 17 blocks, nine came in the final two sets. That includes seven in the fourth set, and two more in the fifth. Middle blocker

With the score tied at 9-9 in the fifth set, Sacramento State ripped off a 6-0 run highlighted by two kills from Hayes, and a combo block from Hayes/
Caitlin Volkmann.
Abbey Kadillak served out the final five points for the Hornets. Sacramento State hit .526 in the decisive fifth set, and 11 of the team's 15 points came via kills. That includes three each from Volkmann,
