SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State head coach
David Patrick announced today that guard Mike Wilson will enroll at the University as a freshman in the fall, and play for the Hornets.
Wilson, a local product from Sacramento, was the team captain for Sacramento High School, helping the program to the 2023 Sac-Joaquin Section championship.

• A 6-foot-2, 185-pound guard from Sacramento
• Played four years of basketball at Sacramento High School
• A three-time team captain
• As a senior, he helped the Dragons to a 25-8 record, and the school's first Sac-Joaquin Section championship since 2016
• In the section championship game, Wilson had nine points, nine rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block and a game-high +12 in plus/minus
• During that senior season, he was first team all-Metro, first team all-Capital Athletic League, and honorable mention all-section
• In 31 games as a senior, he averaged 13.9 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.9 steals and 1.4 blocked shots per game
• Averaged double figures in points all four years of high school
