Box Score LOS ANGELES -- USC, currently ranked eighth in the nation, won the doubles point and all six singles matches to defeat Sacramento State, 7-0, on Sunday morning at Marks Stadium.
The Trojans (1-0) were playing their season opener while Sacramento State (1-2) was playing its third road match in four days. The Hornets beat UC Riverside on Thursday, before falling to UC San Diego on Friday.

Mate Voros had their match stopped at 5-4 against the 12th ranked doubles team in the nation of Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye.
In singles play, USC won each of the matches in straight sets. Keki (No. 1), Voros (No. 2),
Adam Chodur (No. 3),
Ori Maior (No. 4),
Rudolfs Aksenoks (No. 5) and
Patrick Wong (No. 6) made up the team's singles lineup. Keki fell to the 38th ranked singles player in the nation Pater Makk by a 6-2, 6-3 score. Voros lost, 7-5, 6-2, and Chodur fell by a 6-2, 6-4 score.
Sacramento State will play four times at home next week over a six-day span, beginning with a Tuesday afternoon matchup with William Jessup at 1:30 p.m.
