SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State received straight-set singles wins from
David Dai,
Sebastian Vlahos and
Yoav Levy, and took the doubles point on the way to a 4-0 victory over Jessup on Saturday afternoon campus.
The Hornets improved to 10-8 overall and 7-3 at home. In fact, coupled with victories over UC Riverside and UC San Diego earlier this week, Sacramento State won three home matches over a five-day stretch.
The Hornets made quick work of the Warriors as Dai (6-1, 6-0 at No. 4), Vlahos (6-0, 6-0 at No. 5) and Levy (6-0, 6-1 at No. 6) each won in blowout fashion. Sacramento State was up in its other three singles matches when the contest was stopped because the Hornets had already clinched with four points.
Sacramento State also received doubles wins from
Adryan Ballestero (6-2 at No. 1), and
Doni Gashi/
Martin Duris (6-1 at No. 2) to earn the point.
Today was the final non-conference match of the regular season as Sacramento State jumps back into Big Sky Conference play on Saturday (April 4) when it hosts Idaho State at 11 a.m.
