GYMNASTICS ENDS SEASON AT NCAA SEATTLE REGIONAL

SEATTLE — The 2022 season came to a close for the Sacramento State gymnastics team with Amber Koeth and Emma Morgenthaler competing at the NCAA Seattle Regional on Thursday night.

Koeth competed as a beam specialist where she scored 9.125 to finish in 27th place. Morgenthaler placed 26th on vault with a 9.700.

In the team competition, Utah and Stanford captured the top two spots to advance to the regional final on Saturday. The Utes scored 197.800 with the Cardinal totaling 197.425. Oregon State narrowly missed advancing by placing third at 197.425. Illinois was fourth at 197.325.
